I have a Yamaha Roadstar with the Harley engine guard and lowers with the speaker provisions on them. I was running a set of Kicker KM654 Marine speakers paired with a JL Audio 280/4 amp bridged. They sounded alright. Installed 1 ground zero to I can do a side by side comparison. Ground Zero has a little more output, and a cleaner sound. When the sound of a kick drum hits, its more solid sounding where as the Kickers are kind of Tinny sounding. Super happy with my new Ground Zeros!

The amp blinks after a few min of playing and was installed by professional stereo outfit here in Longview Tx. Big Daddys Stereo installed and its failing to work correctly. Can we send back for replacement amp?

Sound great just can’t push em past 300w each if you listen to anything with notes under 60hz. Pair these in your bags use a bass blocker on these or an electronic crossover to keep them from flexing too hard. They like around.75 cu ft with ports. I’m running these with blockers and a pair of 2.5 inch compression drivers with blockers and each bag is set up to run @ 2ohm. I’m running a ds18 compact 4 channel and it sounds phenomenal. Just filter your bad frequencies.

Wow, just wow! these speakers are waaaaaay louder than I anticipated. Have them and my Ground Zero 8'' speakers on a 4 channel 2,400 watt amp with a Soundstream head-unit. Was concerned about putting them on their own channel so I turned the channels to both of them down first. They more than handled it!! couldn't even hear my 8'' and had to retune. Great speakers.

The speakers sound very good running of a 1600 watt SD amplifier, but I’ll be doing some additional tuning and will let you know the final results.
